Mears Mission to Help the Homeless

Mears Group Chairman, Bob Holt, together with the Group's Managing Directors, Branch Managers and other colleagues were the first to dip in their pockets, don aprons and roll up their sleeves to help Whitechapel Mission to continue to serve the homeless people in the East End of London.

 

 

Breakfast Clubs

Pupils at Pakeman School, Islington and their parents now have access to a daily breakfast club thanks to the community initiative organised by Mears Group and Mosaic Homes.

   

Meeting Point -
a cool new venue for youngsters to chill

When Welwyn Hatfield Council approached Mears for sponsorship to turn Breaks Manor, Hatfield, into a much needed informal meeting place for young people to chill in, the company eagerly rose to the challenge.

   

Hackney 180o, Central London

When charity for the homeless, Hackney 180o, based in Hackney, Central London, called for donations and support for those in need at Christmas and New Year, Mears staff donated over 100 sacks containing a variety of children's toys and books, as well as clothes for all ages.

   

Whirlow Hall Farm Trust kick-starts Mears' ambitious "100 Days in the Community" initiative

Mears Group employees are being encouraged to volunteer their skills, hobbies and talents to benefit local communities in support of the company's first "100 Days in the Community" initiative.
