Purpose

A member of the dedicated Positional Improvement (‘PI’) Project Team, delivering first class data processing services to Land and Property Services.
The QC Operator reports directly to the Team Leader and will be responsible for ensuring the project deliverables meet expected levels of quality and follows defined processes and standards. The QC Operator will primarily be responsible for the quality of information concerning ownership and occupation of land, supported by business rules created by the positional improvement project team.
The role will be full time (temporary) and based in TerraQuest’s Land and Property Services office, Lanyon Plaza, Belfast.

Responsibilities

 To ensure that all project activities are performed to the highest levels of quality & compliance in line with defined standards, procedures and TerraQuest’s Business Management System, and meet customer quality expectations.
 To carry our quality control and quality assurance tasks, and where necessary edit production tasks, as required,
 Quality performance monitoring against task deliverables
 To take the lead in reviewing and editing spatial data concerning ownership and occupation of land
 To be responsible for quality checking decisions made against a set of agreed business rules and supporting electronic and manual data.
 To undertake alternative work on alternative TerraQuest projects involving analysis and verification of information in relation to maps, ownership and occupation of land and property in addition to general administration
 To perform this work to quality and time targets as agreed with the Team Leader and Project Manager
 Undertake other duties to ensure the smooth running of the PI team and client satisfaction.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Skills and Experience
 Be educated to degree level or similar
 Ability to lead and motivate a variety of project tasks and teams
 Good oral and written communication skills.
 Have a good understanding of geography and land registration.
 Be computer literate
 Experience of GIS systems, landweb, PI Tools
 Understand Positional Improvement in context of land registration
 Be able to work to strict deadlines and within a team environment
