Application has been made for the blocklisting of 379,317 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares") under the following Company schemes: Scheme Shares Mears Group PLC Save As You Earn scheme 117,001 Mears Group PLC EMI/Approved scheme 88,907 Mears Group PLC Unapproved scheme 173,409 The Shares shall, upon issue, rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares, and dealings are expected to commence, subject to allotment, on 28 November 2006.
