Following the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak across the country, Mears are taking necessary precautions and guidance to help manage the risk of infection across our business.
We are taking the outbreak seriously, whilst maintaining a calm and practical approach to the issue. Our number one priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, clients and customers.
As you would expect from Mears staff, their response has been outstanding, and we recognise that everyone's efforts will be focussed on those with the greatest need at this challenging time.
Mears is a key strategic partner to both Central and Local Government and we are working with our client organisations closely to ensure we minimise the risk of infection across our business. We are also looking at innovative ways to extend our support to the local communities that we serve.
Our advanced technology has allowed us to rapidly switch much of our office-based staff from office to home working.
We will continue to adhere to the guidance issued by the Public Health authorities and NHS, further information on this can be found here - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19
