Mears is delighted to announce that Katie Quinlivan, multi-skilled operative at our Tower Hamlets branch and Chair of the Women’s Operative Support Network, has won the ‘Women on the Tools’ award at the CITB Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Awards 2025.
The ceremony, held on 18 September at Manchester’s Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, celebrated women who are making a lasting impact across the construction sector. Katie was selected in the Women on the Tools category, which recognises tradeswomen who combine technical excellence with leadership and inspiration to the next generation.
This national recognition highlights Katie’s skills, dedication, and her ongoing commitment to fostering greater inclusivity in construction. She plays a key role not only in the Tower Hamlets team but also as a voice for women across Mears and beyond.
Katie commented: “Still cannot believe I won this award. I’m absolutely honoured to have been able to share such a wonderful achievement with wonderful people.
