Mears Group PLC 12 October 2007 12 October 2007 Mears secures 50m Response and Repairs Contract Mears Group PLC is pleased to have won a 10 year contract, worth 50m, to carry out response and repairs work for Midland Heart Housing Association. Midland Heart is one of the top ten housing and regeneration groups in the country and the largest based in the Midlands. The operation will be based out of Wolverhampton where we have an existing partnership with Wolverhampton Homes. Commenting on the contract win, Mears Chairman, Bob Holt, said "We are delighted to be awarded a further partnership contract to strengthen our Midlands operation in Social Housing.
