In the early days of Mears, Bob took the view that every shareholder could play an important part in the growth story of the company. Irrespective of the number of Mears shares owned, it has been the mission to keep all shareholders fully informed on every aspect of the business.
New shareholders still receive a welcoming letter personally signed by Bob and have direct access to every employee of the Group. Of the many awards received by the Group since 1996, the Best Shareholder Relations award still holds pride of place.
