Mears Care secures new contracts worth £21 million

Mears Care has secured more than £21 million worth of contracts in the last six months, growing the company’s care business, and resulting in 120 new roles.
Mears Care has secured more than £21 million worth of contracts in the last six months, growing the company’s care business, and resulting in 120 new roles.

The contracts have been won across the UK and will see Mears delivering different levels of care across projects including 24/7 provision in a newly built supported living scheme in West Lothian and increasing its care services for older people in Cambridgeshire. Contracts have also been secured in Southampton, Sunderland and North Lanarkshire.

The announcement of the new contracts comes as Mears Care successfully retained its Customer Service Excellence (CSE) accreditation. Mears Care division was deemed fully compliant with the standard, which aims to make a tangible difference to service users by encouraging organisations to focus on their customers individual needs and preferences.
