The opportunity to build a career she loves motivated Bola to join Mears Extra Care earlier this year.
Bola, who moved to the UK from Italy in 2009, was previously a community carer for nine years and heard about the Care Worker vacancy at Meadow Court in Bromley through a friend who already worked there.
Following an intensive induction, Bola quickly found her feet and has enjoyed getting to know the residents who have already given her their seal of approval.
Bola said;
They always greet you with a smile and let you know how they want things done
Bola already holds an NVQ Level 3 in Care and is enjoying the opportunity to strengthen her skills.
She added;
It’s just like a family; the whole team is helpful and my manager is very supportive.
