Location: Coatbridge – Office based   

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm

Salary: £28,072.84 per annum

We are looking for a highly organised Administrator to join our team in Coatbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering high levels of customer service. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of the local operation, ensuring information is recorded accurately, communication is managed effectively, and work is scheduled efficiently. You will work closely with colleagues, clients, service users and operatives to help deliver an excellent service. As an Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the local team, helping to ensure operational activities run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining records, supporting planning activities, handling customer enquiries and assisting with financial administration processes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Updating spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records
  • Answering and managing tenant telephone enquiries
  • Planning and scheduling works
  • Booking jobs for operatives
  • Supporting administrative processes across the local team
  • Processing communication from clients, service users and colleagues
  • Supporting purchase orders, invoicing and cost data entry
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism
  • Attending meetings and training where required

  • Previous administration or planning experience

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.

As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out a Background, Identity, Security clearance & BPSS check. For these checks to be completed, we will require from you the relevant identification, including Proof of Address, References, a valid passport and proof that you have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
