About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Administrator to join our dedicated Planned Works team in Peterborough. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes, ensuring smooth administration, accurate record keeping, and excellent service delivery to residents, clients, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Operational team, Project Coordinator, and Partnering Manager.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, clients, and colleagues, handling telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Build positive relationships with tenants, clients, housing teams, supervisors, and contractors to support efficient service delivery.
- Prepare and maintain site packs and project documentation for planned works programmes.
- Assist with scheduling works by contacting residents to arrange and confirm appointments.
- Raise and process jobs on MCM, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Upload surveys, site paperwork, compliance documents, and project records to the correct jobs within MCM.
- Check asbestos information on both MCM and client systems and raise requests for surveys where required.
- Raise and process orders, ensuring the correct certification and documentation is in place for each property.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, ensuring jobs are correctly coded and all records are up to date.
- Produce reports for management, including performance updates and operational reporting.
- Support the team with scheduling, record keeping, document management, and general administrative duties.
Key Criteria
- Previous experience within an administrative role, ideally supporting planned works, maintenance, construction, or social housing services.
- Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office applications and job management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records, processing documentation, and updating systems.
- A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
