Fencing Ground Worker

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

Salary up to £36,430 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

We are looking for two experienced Fencing and Ground Workers to join our Milton Keynes Voids Team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a local team delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment services to housing properties while providing outstanding customer service. Working across unoccupied properties, you will carry out a variety of groundwork and fencing tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will take pride in delivering excellent workmanship while supporting the wider team to meet service and quality expectations.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Fencing and Ground Worker, you will undertake a range of repair, maintenance and refurbishment activities across void properties within the Milton Keynes area. You will work as part of a local team, ensuring work is completed in line with safety, quality and customer service standards.

  • Levelling slabs
  • Laying new paths
  • Pathing and paving works
  • Fencing installation and repairs
  • Gate repairs and renewals
  • Reinstatement and renewal of paving
  • Carrying out repairs and refurbishment works to a high standard
  • Using handheld technology to manage work orders and record activity
  • Maintaining company vehicles, equipment and materials in accordance with company procedures
  • Supporting health and safety compliance across all activities

Role Criteria:

  • Groundwork experience including fencing and paving
  • Repairs and maintenance experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to deliver work to a high standard
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Social housing experience desirable
