Salary: £35,431.13, Company Van plus Great Company Benefits.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30. There will be a requirement to cover on call, this is currently 1 in 5 weeks and there will be an additional allowance paid for this.

About the Role:

You will be apart of a local team undertaking high standard Carpentry & Joinery repairs to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.

  • Carrying out all joinery works that is required  

  • Responsible for duties to include but not limited to – routine repairs, quick repairs, lock changes and boarding up windows.

  • Providing high levels of customer care at all times

  • Kitchen repair and partial kitchen installation

  • General repairs and maintenance in social housing

Key Criteria:

  • Experience in Carpentry & Joinery

  • A UK full valid driving license

  • City & Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery trade discipline

  • Good written & verbal communication skills

  • Numeracy skills

  • Good People Skills

  • Able to understand & follow standard operating procedures

  • Able to use a PDA following training

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
