We are looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our team in Coatbridge, supporting the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services across occupied residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a customer focused environment, helping to maintain and improve homes across the region.
As part of a local team, you will undertake a variety of plastering repair and refurbishment works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining quality and cost control standards. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment activities within occupied properties. You will work independently, managing your workload effectively while ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and health and safety standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Repairs in occupied properties
- General plaster work
- Partition building
- Strapping and plating
- Plaster finish works
- Rough casting
- Complete repair and refurbishment works to agreed standards and timescales
- Carry out fault finding and maintenance repairs with a focus on first time completion
- Maintain excellent customer service standards with service users and stakeholders
- Use handheld technology to manage work activities, records and compliance requirements
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment and materials in accordance with company procedures
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
- Participate in emergency call out cover when required
Role Criteria
- Proven plastering experience
- Experience in rough casting
- Multi trade experience and knowledge of additional trades
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently in occupied properties
- Strong commitment to customer service, quality and health and safety standards

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
