Senior Contract Manager
Location: Coatbridge
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Salary: £53,742.24 per annum, plus £4,500 car allowance

We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team in Coatbridge, leading the successful delivery of housing maintenance, capital works and built environment services. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer focused leader with strong operational and commercial experience to drive contract performance, productivity and service excellence.
In this role, you will oversee contract delivery across North Lanarkshire, managing supervisors, planners and operational teams to ensure programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. You will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, achieving performance targets and building strong relationships with clients and local communities.
As Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of contract service delivery, ensuring operational excellence, commercial performance and compliance with contractual obligations. You will lead teams, manage resources effectively and support the delivery of high-quality services while maintaining exceptional health and safety standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Management of operational and commercial contract delivery
- Ensuring contract performance meets company and client expectations
- Managing budgets, profitability, cash flow and work programmes
- Producing project updates and performance reports
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Managing direct labour resources and supply chain partners
- Driving productivity improvements and efficiency savings
- Supporting procurement initiatives and innovation opportunities
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and KPI performance
- Leading, coaching and developing employees
- Building strong relationships with clients, service users and local communities
- Undertaking site visits and occasional travel across North Lanarkshire
Role Criteria
- People management experience
- Experience managing contracts, capital works and projects
- Commercial property and housing experience
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation including COSHH
- Proven track record of working in a customer focused environment
- Strong operational and commercial management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Building fabric experience is desirable

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
