Contract: Permanent, 42.5 hours per week

Salary: £37,597.46 per annum, company van and fuel card

About the Role:

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operational supervision of contract activities, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction through effective planning and resource utilisation.

  • Supervise and monitor work delivery, progression and completion through regular site visits
  • Ensure works are appropriately resourced, delivered to quality standards, completed on time and within budget
  • Compile management reports on operational activities, initiatives and performance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company procedures and quality standards
  • Promote best practice and adherence to legislation, codes of practice and safe systems of work
  • Place customer experience at the centre of all activities and stakeholder interactions
  • Manage employee performance, coaching and development
  • Support training and development activities for individuals and teams
  • Monitor and maintain company assets including vehicles, materials, tools, plant hire, uniform and PPE
  • Ensure company assets are maintained in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Support company initiatives, policies and work instructions at all times
  • Provide cover for other supervisors as required
  • Attend company and client meetings and training sessions when required

Key Criteria:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • Supervisory experience within a similar operation
  • Experience managing, monitoring, recording and reporting health and safety compliance
  • Experience within social housing
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds qualification or equivalent trade qualification
  • Asbestos Awareness qualification
  • First Aid at Work Certificate
  • Fire Marshal Certificate
  • Scaffolding Inspection Certificate
