About Our Clients
Kent and Medway Mental Health Trust (including CYPMHS) (KMMH)
Providing inpatient and outpatient mental health services across Kent and Medway, including services for children, young people, older adults, forensic and specialist care. The Trust operates across approximately 68 sites, delivering 24/7, 365-day patient services.
Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT)
One of the largest community health providers in England, employing approximately 5,700 staff and serving a population of 1.4 million people across Kent, East Sussex, and parts of London. This contract includes 33 sites, made up of local GPs, sexual health clinics, dentists, and community-based care centres.
About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Water Hygiene Supervisor to join our team in Kent. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for overseeing, guiding, and supporting all water operations, operatives, and contractors working across client sites. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all water installations are safe, fully compliant, and pose no risk to building users, the public, our clients, and employees. This role is managing a small team and being hands on alongside the operatives.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Carrying out quality control checks on-site
- Updating and maintaining training schedules
- Collaborating closely with the Compliance Manager
- Writing detailed audit reports based on your findings
- Travelling required to other branches to conduct audits
- Attending client meetings via teams and in person
- Participating in clients water safety group meetings
Role Criteria:
- Competence in Water Management
- Have extensive hands-on experience in water hygiene and plumbing industry
- L8 ACOP /HSG 274 experience and training
- City and Guilds BS standard qualifications in water management, risk assessment, reasonable persons
- Flexible to travel and happy to stay away from home where required
Desirable:
- Pool treatment
- Water risk assessment trained
- Experience in water sampling
- HTM 03-04 Experience in a health care setting

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
