Care UK in Chapel-en-le-Frith, now part of Mears Group, has been recognised byhomecare.co.ukin the Top 10 Agencies Awards 2015, which highlights the most recommendedhomecare agenciesineach region of the UK.The Chapel-en-le-Frith branch came eighth out of 450 homecare agencies in the East Midlands in the Awards, which are based on over 3,000 recommendations received last year from service users as well as their family and friends.Homecare.co.uk lists thousands of home care providers across the country, allowing anyone to search for care services in their area. It also lets people who have experienced services firsthand post recommendations, giving added confidence to those looking for care services. These recommendations also form the basis for the Top 10 Agencies Awards.Terence W, husband of one of the service users, recommended Care UK in Chapel-en-le-Frith, saying, “Service received is always very, very good.”Service user Joan P, said “As I am an old lady of 88 years, older women to look after me. These have all been understanding and kind. They have all done their job and found a few minutes to have a few words with me which is very encouraging.”Chief Operating Officer forMears, Bernadette Walsh, said, “We are delighted that service users and their family and friends have recognised the hard work of our care workers – their recommendations speak volumes about the effort and determination of everyone involved.”
