Mears Care is delighted to be awarded the contract to provide the London Borough of Lambeth with a range of home care services. Mears has been providing care in Lambeth since 2006 and the new services will help to expand the support offered to services users' throughout Lambeth.The new services will include caring for older people in their own homes, working with people living with dementia, supporting adults with learning or physical disabilities and working with children/young people in social care. The new contract will also include a commitment to ensure that all care workers receive the London Living Wage.Mears has a strong presence in Lambeth with excellent housing operations in addition to high quality care services. The new contract provides an ideal opportunity for Mears to forge closer links with the community, individual residents and the London Borough of Lambeth.Tracey Wicks, Mears Care Senior Contracts Manager, Lambeth said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this new contract and we will be working hard to ensure all our current service users and our new ones receive high quality care.
