Mears Care has been awarded a contract by West Berkshire Council to deliver care services at the newly built Priory Extra Care Scheme in Hungerford.
Beginning in September 2013, the contract is for two years with the option to extend for a further two. It is the first time the two organisations have worked together with Mears care to provide over 700 hours of care a week.
Services will include; offering round the clock support, personal care, support with medication , cooking and assistance to help residents live independently in their own flats within the scheme.
