MPS, the repairs and maintenance contractor are celebrating the award of a £2million contract for kitchens and bathrooms with A2Dominion on top of its current contract.

This is part of a joint venture between A2Dominion, MPS and Breyer – Pyramid Plus is an asset management company that provides a range of property services to the private, public and not-for-profit sectors across London and the South East.

Founded in 2013, Pyramid Plus brings together the expertise of three leading organisations, which between them have over 100 years of history and experience: A2Dominion, Breyer and MPS.

Its core services include:

  • General maintenance
  • Responsive repairs
  • Voids management
  • Facilities management
  • 24-hour customer service centre

Community Investment

The contract is underpinned by a strong community investment programme which included breathing new life into a rather tired internet café called The Foyer in Salisbury. This establishment caters for young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 who, for various reasons, find themselves without accommodation and for some without the life skills to manage in today’s world.  As part of their role, the staff at the scheme manage the property to ensure repairs and maintenance are reported and actioned, but more importantly their primary role is to give guidance, support and a friendly ear to the 32 residents who rely on them on a daily basis. The establishment has now been completed with support from throughout the contracts supply chains and internal staff – a real success and a real place for people to feel at home.

Alan Perret, Head of Business at PPS commented:

We are really proud to have secured this work and are equally proud of the works we have, and are currently delivering to A2dominion. This award is a great sign of the strength of the joint venture, both commercially and operationally. The fact that we are also integrating Community Investment within the offering has also allowed us to reach out and support the communities we are actually working in, this is really what it’s all about.

Vicky Fordham Lewis, Managing Director of MPS commented:

“These works have been procured through a framework which sits alongside our core contract. At the commencement of this framework there were multiple other contractors who were taking works however PPS have demonstrated since taking the contract on in 2013 an excellent and assured service and our team is now the primary kitchen and bathroom delivery team for the areas we currently work within.

“I think this goes to show that time and again quality and a strong track record are key to building long-lasting relationships and this is more important than ever with the current slowdown in growth for the sector.”
