The Mears branch based at Octavia has been named Red Thread Branch of the year at the Mears annual Smile Awards.
The awards, which were hosted on 17th April by the BBC’s Mark Easton this year, aim to promote and recognise high performing individuals and teams in the company’s 12,000-strong workforce.
The Red Thread Branch of the Year award is given to top performing branches who embody the Mears culture of great service, good client relationships and strong commercial performance.
The judges found that, during the year, Octavia had consistently demonstrated their commitment to these values and had achieved excellent outcomes for their client around planning, service delivery, collaboration and operational performance. The client noted the team’s dedication to delivering value for money while maintaining excellent customer service and they commended them for keeping their promises.
Noel Brosnan, Asset Management Director at Octavia, said:
“This is a fantastic achievement. Over the last few years we have faced a number of challenges but I have always been comforted that the Mears team at Octavia were there to support us. It is one of the best examples of true partnership I have experienced in my professional life.
“We would like to congratulate the team and thank them for the hard work and dedication to the Octavia repairs contract ensuring that our residents receive an excellent repairs service that we can all be proud of.”
