Omega retains contract with Barking and Dagenham Council

Omega, who were recently acquired by Mears Group, have retained a contract to provide private sector housing letting, management and temporary accommodation services for Barking and Dagenham Council.Omega have been working with Barking and Dagenham Council since April 2010 and the new contract will see them providing housing management services for a further three years. Omega will support the council by providing high quality and affordable temporary accommodation for local households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.Currently Omega manages around 50 properties in the local area and they will be looking to increase the number of properties and expand the portfolio further.As a leading provider of residential lettings and management services Omega provides around 1,700 properties to 24 Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
