Successful Planning Consent in Oxfordshire

We are very pleased to share that we have secured another Reserved Matters Planning Consent this week for our development at "Oakland Grange" in Freeland, Oxfordshire.

The site was purchased in partnership with Sovereign Housing Association in 2017 with the benefit of outline planning consent for 41 new dwellings, ranging from 2 to 5 bedroom homes. 50% of these homes will be delivered for Sovereign as Shared Ownership and Affordable Rent tenures, with the balance of homes again being sold on the open market to cross subsidise the scheme.

This success closely follows us achieving Reserved Matters Consent on this scheme's Sister Development "Foxwood Grove," in Aston, Oxfordshire. Foxwood was also purchased in partnership with Sovereign Housing Association and by complete coincidence, will also deliver 41 new dwellings ranging from 2 to 5 bedroom homes with 50% of these homes being delivered for Sovereign as Shared Ownership and Affordable Rent tenures.

Both schemes have been designed with the local vernacular in mind and will heavily feature the use of natural stone, slate and timber which are all beautifully common features of the area.

These two new schemes form part of our progressive growth strategy along the M4 / M3 corridor; and we are already looking for further opportunities to support our growth into the South West.
