Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Remote, UK Based

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: £45,000 per annum plus company benefits

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our IT function, supporting data driven decision making across housing maintenance and operational services. This is a fully remote role offering the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, delivering insight that improves service quality, efficiency and performance across the business.

You will play a key role in collecting, analysing and presenting data to support management decisions. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, you will transform complex data into clear, meaningful insight that helps shape strategy and operational delivery.

About the Role:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for managing and analysing data from multiple sources, developing reporting solutions and providing actionable insight to support business performance and service improvement.

  • Collect and organise data from databases, data lakes, surveys and reports.
    Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform decision making.
  • Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions to track and manage performance.
  • Create and present data driven reports to support management and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather data relevant to housing maintenance operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Support the development of predictive models and forecasting related to maintenance needs.
  • Contribute to best practice management of central data stores and data assets.

Key Criteria:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within housing or property management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Power BI experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, PySpark or R.
  • Experience with data engineering or data science tooling is.
  • A qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar is desirable, but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote working environment.
