Registered Manager – Extra Care (Multi-Site Coverage)

Location - Cambridge (Chesterton area)

Contract – Permanent / Full-Time position

Salary – Up to £45,000, plus great company benefits.

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established Extra Care service in the Chesterton area of Cambridge, alongside supporting wider multi-site operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a vibrant, community-focused service, with the support of an experienced leadership team and the opportunity to shape and grow the service.

Reporting into the Operations Director of Care you will manage a team of Care Co-Ordinators and Care Workers to provide the best possible care at our purpose-built Extra Care service within a local community.

This is a great opportunity to shape and develop services, not just maintain them.

About the role:

As Registered Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for service delivery, team performance, and compliance across your service and associated sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the services
  • Ensuring strong CQC compliance and high-quality care delivery
  • Managing, developing and motivating a dedicated care team
  • Overseeing recruitment, staffing levels and retention
  • Driving service performance, occupancy and growth
  • Managing budgets and delivering against KPIs
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners and stakeholders

Key Criteria:

  • An experienced Registered Manager — or a strong Deputy ready to step up
  • Level 5 qualified (or working towards) in Health & Social Care
  • Confident with CQC standards and inspections
  • A strong leader who can develop and inspire teams
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and targets
  • An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
