From October 2026, Mears will deliver responsive repairs as well as cyclical maintenance services to almost 20,000 homes in west Leeds, working on behalf of Leeds City Council.

The partnership builds on over 10 years of successful collaboration and reflects Leeds City Councils continued confidence in Mears’ ability to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services to people in Leeds.

Lucas Critchley, Chief Executive Officer at Mears Group comments:

We’re delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with Leeds City Council. Securing this contract offers a stable long-term future for Mears in the North of England and reflects our continued focus on delivering high-quality services that ensure residents’ homes are well-maintained, safe and cared for.
Drawing on our commitment to social value we’ll continue to work closely with partners in the region to invest in social value activity in the local area.
