The Best Companies accreditation is seen as the standard for workplace engagement and is a recognition that an organisation understands the importance of workplace engagement.
Mears has been placed in the Ones to Watch category; a special status awarded to organisations where workplace engagement shows promising signs for the future.
Achieving Ones to Watch accreditation takes a BCI score of at least 600 and reflects organisations with ‘good’ levels of workplace engagement.

I am incredibly proud that we have been recognised as one of the 25 Best Big Companies to work for. The accreditation is based on feedback from you, and I'm over the moon that, on the whole, the sentiment is so positive. I recognise we still face challenges. As we grow, it becomes more difficult to make sure we’re effectively communicating and engaging with each other across the business. So, this accreditation marks the start of our journey rather than the end. It helps us to identify where we are good and where we need to improve and we will be putting a plan in place to make sure we continue to do so. We have a great team of people here at Mears and it is incredibly important to us that they feel engaged in the business and valued for the work they do. It’s what will help us deliver great business results and great outcomes for our customers.

You should be extremely proud of your achievement and the fact that employees at your organisation feel it is such a fantastic place to work. Congratulations once again.
