Leading social housing repairs and maintenance specialist Mears Group has donated a brand new football kit to Chalkhill Wanderers FC.
The local football team, made up of young boys from the Chalkhill Estate in the London borough of Brent, is organised by one of Mears' clients, Metropolitan Housing Trust, who provide affordable homes and support for some of the poorest areas of London.
Lekan Ojumu, community sports development officer for MHT, said: "The lads all really appreciate Mears' generosity. The team is top of the league in both age groups, but they have had to borrow other teams' kits for the first couple of games so they will love having their own now!"
