Deputy Prime Minister hails success for Mears as they are recognised as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer

Mears has been recognised in the prestigious Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list which is compiled annually by the National Apprenticeship Service in partnership with City & Guilds and recognises excellence in businesses that employ apprentices.

After a tough selection process the most exceptional Apprenticeship employers from all five National Apprenticeship Awards employer categories went forward to feature in the list, which showcases the breadth of employers who now offer Apprenticeships.

Mears supports 670 apprentices and trainees across the Group and to ensure they deliver a high quality apprenticeship programme they have reviewed best practice and developed the Mears National Housing Apprenticeship Scheme. This scheme aims to provide a consistent, quality approach to how apprenticeships, trainees, work experience and work placements are managed.
