Five Stars for Mears teams

Twelve more Mears branches and teams have received Five Star ratings for their standards of excellence.Star ratings are based on year-round measurement by our Customer and Community Success team against our five behaviours (motivational, empowering, customer positive, high standards and role model) and six focus areas for excellence (high branch standards, effective communication, colleague engagement, customer focus, effective leadership and commercial awareness).Final assessment is made from the results of our annual Colleague Engagement Survey, which this year had over 8,500 responses.Group Director of Customer Success Gary Jackson explains: “A Five Star rating is a sign of excellence and shows real dedication – the teams need to live and breathe our behaviours, and every colleague needs to feel engaged.“We aim to have as many Five Star branches as possible, however these are not given out lightly and are held in high esteem.”The Five Star winners are:HousingAmicus HorizonCatalyst GasIslingtonYourMKNorthamptonOctaviaPenzanceCareKings LynnPrestwickSpecialist business servicesMears Task TeamMears Home Improvement, ShropshireMears DirectNeil Owen is General Manager at YourMK in Milton Keynes, which was also named as our Branch of the Year.Neil said: “Receiving a Five Star rating – and the Mears Branch of the Year award – is a fantastic achievement for our team.
