Insitu Care acquired by Mears

Mears, the leading provider of home care and support services and a strategic partner in Wiltshire’s Help to Live at Home programme is delighted to announce the acquisition of Insitu Care, which provides home support to people in the Salisbury area. Insitu Care already supports Mears in Amesbury so continuity of service for existing customers will be maintained. Mears has made the acquisition, together with the acquisition of Careline Community Care, as part of its efforts to grow its care business in Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Insitu Care has a significant private customer base and Mears welcomes its expertise to help expand and grow the business. With this acquisition Mears welcomes around 50 new members of staff and is particularly pleased that Jayne Forde and Shelia Ferguson from Insitu Care, who were the owners of the business, will be joining Mears and helping to develop the business across the county.Mears are looking to recruit more local people with a passion for care. Care workers will be offered guaranteed contract hours together with an excellent remuneration package.
