The new four-year contract valued at circa £12m per annum and includes a possible extension of a further six years will continue to deliver cyclical repairs,preventative maintenance & improvements in energy efficiency and fire protection works for the council from 1st of April in the East of the borough.
The new contract reflects the excellence in service delivery, low complaints and effective budget control that Mears has made in delivering repairs and maintenance to approx. 15,000 council homes over the last decade.
