Mears secures position with Estuary Housing Association

Mears is pleased to announce they have been successful in securing position as one of just eight contractors for Estuary Housing Association Works Framework to build new homes. This win will allow Mears to bid for potential contracts worth in the region of £51 million over the next three years. Projects will range from small developments of 10 units to larger ones of 150 units.Mears has been offering a comprehensive new build service to Local Authorities and Housing Associations since 2012.The framework will be focussed within Essex, Suffolk and the outer East London Boroughs. The projects will include building affordable rented accommodation, specialist and supported housing, low cost home ownerships, key worker accommodation and homes for commercial sale.The developments will provide much needed social housing for local residents and will continue to strengthen and develop Estuary Housing Associations property portfolio.Tim Carpenter, Mears New Homes Managing Director said: "We are delighted to have been appointed to this framework in what continues to be a competitive and often challenging market sector.
