Mears and New College Nottingham; education at the heart of the community

New College Nottingham, is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK and was the first education PFI project Mears acquired. Mears Facilities Management are contracted to manage and deliver an extensive asset management service within the Adams Building, a grade 2* listed building.

The College centres on a grade 2 listed building with a significant amount of emphasis placed on the preservation of original features and details of both architectural and historical significance.

To ensure compliance and minimal disruption to the original infrastructure the College engages the services of a specialist architectural practice with whom Mears interface on a regular basis as part of the overall asset management planning.
