Brighton and Hove City Council Home Improvement Agency

Mears and Brighton; Improving lives together

Working with homeowners and those in privately rented property our Home Improvement Agency presently provides a core service to support older and/or disabled people through the disabled facility grant process.

The service offers full casework support, the production of technical drawings and plans and delivering both minor and major adaptations utilising a schedule of rates through a framework of preferred contractors procured by Brighton and Hove City Council. As a key part of the service we also provide Housing options advice and practical support to those people where a home move is the most appropriate solution.
